Pet Proof Guarantee
The Screen Machine, an authorized Tiger Wire Dealer, guarantees that, under normal conditions, Tiger Wire™ screen will not rip or tear from a pet jumping, climbing or clawing on the mesh. This guarantee is good for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the property on which the Tiger Wire™ product was installed. Only the Tiger Wire™ screen material is covered under this guarantee.
Screen Door Frames, Channels, Hardware
Screen door frames, screen enclosure frames, and all other materials are covered under the Standard Tiger Tuff Door Series warranty. Tiger Tuff Door series warranty covers: screen door frames, screen enclosure frames, wheels, locks, hinges and hardware for a period of 3 years from the date of installation. This warranty does not cover abuse such as a person running and crashing into the screen door or frame, kicking the door frame, over extension of the pneumatic closer due to wind or improper use, corrosion from salt water/coastal environments, or improper installation of any of the above.
Upon written proof -of- purchase, a defective Tiger Wire™ screen will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of The Screen Machine, without charge. This guarantee will not apply if the Tiger Wire™ has been abused or improperly installed. Labor/service charges are not included in our guarantee. For customer assistance call 1-888-TIGER-88. THIS GUARANTEE EXCLUDES ALL INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damage, so the above may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state.
There are specific requirements you must follow to ensure your Tiger Wire Product lasts for years.
At the heart of all Tiger Wire products there is mesh. Tiger Wire is woven of high tensile 304 grade, stainless steel mesh, surrounded by architectural grade aluminum framing. The Tiger Wire mesh used in your product is highly corrosion resistant; however all meshes can act as a filter, trapping airborne dirt and impurities and reducing the lifespan of your product.
Staining of the mesh coating caused by a combination of salt, moisture and airborne impurities may result in reddish marks (common airborne impurities) or ‘fluffy’ white marks (salt build up). It is therefore essential that routine maintenance occurs so as to keep the product in pristine condition and proper working order, as outlined in the following table:
|Mild||More than 6 miles from beachfront or sheltered bay||Every 6 Months|
|Moderate||½ mile to 6 miles from beachfront or sheltered bay||Every 2 to 3 Months|
|Marine||Up to ½ mile from beachfront or sheltered bay||Every 2 to 4 Weeks|
1. Beachfront refers to breaking surf causing airborne moisture
2. Sheltered bay refers to calm salt waters not experiencing surf conditions
3. Fresh water lakes are not considered high risk areas
4. Heavy industrial areas can be considered marine environments
5. The recommended maintenance intervals provided here are for general guidance only.
Some installations may require extra maintenance due to local environmental conditions.
Regular maintenance involves a wash down of frames and mesh with a regular car wash detergent using warm water and a soft bristled brush, followed by a clean water rinse. For a fast and effective alternative using plain water, we recommend a HaRa® Green Glove, this glove is supplied with instructions for best results and can be used in between car wash cleans.
We also recommend protecting your its products with Oxi Shine™ a multi surface sealer that cleans polishes and protects. It will greatly assist in reducing buildup of dust, dirt and airborne particles, making ongoing cleaning and maintenance easier. Application instructions are provided on the Oxi Shine™ bottles. The above products can be purchased at most hardware stores or Amazon online.
